In keeping with our Bush Camp theme, Truffle Lodge favours simple rustic, comfort food. We do not represent as a restaurant and we do not offer gourmet menus. Breakfast & Dinners are simple, set menus. We do not offer luncheons.

The Valley has award-winning vineyards, and the village of Bushy Park has the largest hopfields in Australia, so naturally, the area features local world-class wines and unique artisan beers and ciders. We complement our small, select  premium Tasmanian offering with a small selection of European wines.

Our Set Menus can cater for limited restrictions such as ‘no pork’, vegetarian and gluten-free or lactose-free diets if advised at least 1 week in advance. Our Set Menus cannot cater for vegan, dairy-free or other rcomplex medical or lifestyle dietary restrictions.

Our set menus cannot cater to to the diets of people with life-threatening allergies.

Truffle Lodge does not have a restaurant and does not offer a la carte dining.

We offer Set Menu meals, which are planned and catered for 1 week in advance.

Most guests are out exploring and adventuring during the day, so we do not supply lunch. During this time staff are off-site getting provisions, delivering laundry etc. Cleaning staff may be operating during this time.

Food is not served in tents. Food MUST NOT be taken to tents, as it will attract ants and vermin. Please keep your personal stash of yummies in the fridge of your tent, away from local wildlife.

BREAKFASTS

Breakfast is served in The Lodge at 8.00am each day. Please be on time as the breakfast is bumped down at 9.30am.

Breakfast is Continental style, including a number of served items, with a selection of self-serve items.

DINNER

Dinner is served in the Dining Room of  The Lodge.

The first course is served at 7.00pm, so please arrive 6.30-6.45 to select your drinks and be seated.

Dinner is a simple 2-Course Set Menu rustic meal which is changed daily, presented as either individual or shared plates.

While most guests enjoy the conviviality of shared table dining, tables can be set separately on request.

If you prefer a la carte dining our staff will be happy to assist with making your reservations off site. Please book dinner at the time of your reservation or at least 1 week in advance.

There are plenty of lunch options in the valley, and our Covid Remote Concierge Service will be happy to assist – just phone or text.

Within walking distance, the Gretna Green Hotel serves country pub meals. They operate meals for limited hours so we suggest you phone them before you walk up the hill to them. 62861332
