Luxury Hotel Tasmanian Kayak Adventure – Introducing the epic Derwent Descent Package

 

The Derwent Descent is a luxury experience near Hobart, Tasmania. Guests enjoy a soft-adventure guided kayak trip between two luxury hotels.

 

This is a private and exclusive experience, open only to guests of Woodbridge & Truffle Lodge

 

This epic adventure has you staying up-river at Truffle Lodge for the first two nights. On Day 3, after breakfast, you will kayak down river and go to The Woodbridge for the second part of your stay. While you are on the river in transit, you may see platypus and sea eagles, and will cross several low-medium grade rapids. Your guides are highly experienced and all equipment is provided.

 

This package is a minimum 4 night stay, but you can extend the stay at either or both properties for a long as you wish.

 

This package includes:

• Breakfast each morning during your stay at both properties
• 2 course Dinner each night during your stay at both properties

 

There is lots to see and do in the Derwent Valley, from both Truffle Lodge and The Woodbridge Tasmania

 

We can also arrange on your behalf:

• Chauffeured Airport transfers. Charges apply.
• Helicopter transfer to Truffle Lodge from airport or other helipad.
• Hire Car to be waiting at either property for you, Truffle Lodge on arrival, The Woodbridge on departure.
• Seaplane or Helicopter transfers from The Woodbridge.
• Seaplane or Helicopter sight seeing or Heli-lunch
• Lunch at the Agrarian Kitchen Eatery
• Paddle Boarding lesson and session
